LLOYD PALMER   (CPA/CA)



Lloyd Palmer photoLloyd graduated from the NT University with a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) degree and commenced working with KPMG in Darwin and Melbourne.  After nine years with KPMG private business services and superannuation, he left and started his own practice.

In 1999, Lloyd joined with Les Newman to form Palmer Newman & Associates and in 2002, Darren Ricardo joined the firm to form Palmer Newman Ricardo Pty Ltd.

Lloyd brings with him 19 years experience, working with small and medium sized businesses in the caravan park, motel, and school camp industries with a wide variety of clients.



DARREN RICARDO   (CPA/CA)



DARREN RICARDO photoDarren graduated from the Swinburne University with a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) degree in 1986 and commenced working with a small to medium Accounting firm in St Kilda.  After six years with this firm and a further nine years at his next firm, Darren has predominantly worked in small to medium firms.

In 2002, Darren joined the firm with Lloyd Palmer and Les Newman to form Palmer Newman Ricardo Pty Ltd.

Darren is a CPA and Chartered Accountant and brings with him 24 years experience, working with small and medium sized businesses and in the last 7 years specialising in the caravan park and  motel industries with a wide variety of clients.

Natasha Dawson (Tax Manager)


Natasha Dragwidge photoNatasha joined the firm in July 2004 initially as an Industry Based Learning Student. She studied at Swinburne University of Technology and received her Bachelor of Business (Accounting) degree in 2007.


Natasha is currently completing further study to become a CPA. Natasha is a senior member of our staff and apart from her excellent knowledge and expertise in all areas of accounting she also plays a major role in the supervision of staff and training.


 


 


Ruth Jones PhotoRuth Jones is one of our most experienced team members. 


Ruth has worked in the accounting profession for nearly 30 years and has been an invaluable member of our firm since June 2000.


Ruth specialises in accounting and taxation for Medium Business and Superannuation Funds.


 


 


Fiona Hunt photoFiona Hunt  joined the firm in February 2009 and since that time has proven to be an important addition to our team.


Fiona has worked in the accounting industry for 17 years and has an Advanced Diploma in Business (Accounting). She has a great deal of experience in all areas of accounting and specialises in Self Managed Superannuation Funds.


 


  


Jeanette Huf photoJeanette Huf  (CPA) has 25 years experience in Accounting and specialises in Small Business Accounting.


Her expertise and experience in all aspects of business accounting and taxation is an asset to the firm. Jeanette joined our team in January 2009.


 


 


      


Matthew Henshall photo


Matthew Henshall commenced working at Palmer Newman Ricardo Pty Ltd in July 2009 initially as an IBL Student. After completing his 12 months Industry Based Learning he has continued on with the firm and has now completed his study to obtain his Bachelor of Business (Accounting) Degree.

Carly joined the firm in September 2011 and is an appreciated member of our team.  Carly is the first point of contact when calling the office or attending an appointment.  Her friendly nature and professionalism suit this position perfectly and ensures that the hub of our office runs smoothly.

Melinda Ninnis (Administration)
Melinda joined our team in July 2002 and is an important member of our staff.  Melinda has 22 years experience in administration and her role within the firm is managing our internal computer systems, managing internal accounts and systems.

Lissa joined the firm in May 2008 and is a valued member of our team.  Lissa manages all the Corporate Secretarial Registers and ensures that our clients comply with ASIC Regulations.  Lissa also assists in Reception and Administration.
